Those other quakes in Hawaii have also been around Kilauea volcano - this one however is the first recent one to occur directly AT the volcano base itself. I've always felt Hawaii isn't finished since Kilauea. It's been a while now and the experts don't seem to have any imminent concerns, but that island still seems restless to me. I know it's a very seismic area, but there's been fairly consistent activity at both volcanoes, and the south flank/Hilina slump still gets a lot of activity, although it's not swarming like it was there for a while.
