Oh damn. So sorry to hear this Sim. That poor girl. I truly hope and pray and am sending my utmost positive thoughts for a good outcome for all of you. Maybe it was a special sign that you had to take her to the vet for a different reason and they got it early.

So, the freaky lights in the sky here last night were confirmed to be the Army Golden Knights parachute team flying into Forest Park during the balloon glow.



I tell ya, what I saw didn't look like that at all. They were evidently moving in a formation the minute I got a glimpse, because it looked like a craft/object that was sorta gliding through the air, except it was taking odd twists and turns for any sort of aircraft. They were moving in unison and looked to be going up at times and down at others.

I slept most of the night with her on her dog bed on the floor. I'm a little sore today lol. Her bed is on Nef's side of our bed and when he got up for work this morning he stepped on me and was like 'what are you doing down there'?!

I hope you two enjoyed your overnight snuggle and that Blissy is feeling better today from her vet visit.

We've got some crisp Fall weather right now. It's actually a little chilly in the house. Blissy is all snuggled up in a blanket on the couch next to me. :)

Tomorrow is going to be 85 though, so this nice air is short lived.

We had that weather and I already miss it. Today in the upper 80s/90 and nearly all this coming week in the MID 90s. One day it's supposed to get up to 97! (see Second Summer below)

Oh damn, I hope those consistent 90's aren't headed my way next! I'm done with summer this year.
