Oh, no. You might have to stock up on bags of dry lentils instead of frozen shrimp.

Fucking parasites.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49126110

This parasite does NOT get food stamps, however, a bag of frozen shrimp for $5 feeds my husband and I, over rice, for two days. I switched from steak to more shrimp in order to save money.
Try again.
Furthermore, there are needy people out there I'd rather see eat, than to have my tax dollars go to wars, bogus wars, etc.

My son is a single father of two little ones and he works hard for a living. He needs the little food stamps he gets for them to get by. Doesn't drink, doesn't do drugs.
SO WHY DONT YOU SHUT THER HELL UP.
LABELING ALL WHO GET HELP A PARASITE IS INHUMAN AND UNAMERICAN, JERK.

You're right, not all who get assistance are deadbeats. I'll bet that your son will relinquish benefits as soon as he's able. There is no shame in getting a leg up to feed your kids.

The lifestyle mooches, on the other hand, are an entirely different story.

I agree about the shrimp, too. Cheaper than beef in a lot of cases and we're landlocked here! I cook a lot of shrimp...mmmmmm.

Yep, those large shrimp bags at Walmart are pretty awesome. I hate their meat, though. Oh I'm glad you understand.
Not everyone is a parasite. hf

I hate to tell you guys this, but that Wal-mart Shrimp is most likely Asian / Chinese shrimp, and it's raised on pig poop.

At Ngoc Sinh Seafoods Trading & Processing Export Enterprise, a seafood exporter on Vietnam’s southern coast, workers stand on a dirty floor sorting shrimp one hot September day. There’s trash on the floor, and flies crawl over baskets of processed shrimp stacked in an unchilled room in Ca Mau.

Elsewhere in Ca Mau, Nguyen Van Hoang packs shrimp headed for the U.S. in dirty plastic tubs. He covers them in ice made with tap water that the Vietnamese Health Ministry says should be boiled before drinking because of the risk of contamination with bacteria. Vietnam ships 100 million pounds of shrimp a year to the U.S. That’s almost 8 percent of the shrimp Americans eat.

Seafood From Asia Raised on Pig Waste, Says News Report

Second, he says, the practice in Asia of putting hog feces into fish ponds dates back "thousands of years," and is not as repellent as it at first might sound. Why? "Because the fish are not eating the feces. The feces are added to the water to produce an algae bloom," he says, which in turn produces a form of plankton that the fish then eat.
