Branch is a certain servant of God, namely the man child in Rev 12:5, for he grows out of the roots of the rod (Jesus Christ), which means that he comes after the the true apostolic church has been ruined by the Antichrist (those many false teachers (2 John 7). Only the roots of the church are left, from where he comes, i.e the uncorrupted words of Holy Scripture.

Hi 2012Portal, First of all, let me start off by saying that I am in no way an "expert". I simply pass what the Spirit of God, through Jesus Christ gives me to pass. In order to answer your question, we must look to Scripture (as always). Jesus indicated to us that there would be a complete "falling away" from the truth in John 9:4 As long as it is day, we must do the works of him who sent me. Night is coming, when no one can work. When "no one can work" means that there would be a complete falling away from the truth. The only thing incorruptible is Holy Scripture. John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Thus, it is foretold in Scripture that no denomination, pastor, or pope on this earth right now preaches the truth about Holy Scripture. Scripture tells us that the Two Witnesses of Rev 11.3 will come with the truth but only a few people will hear their message. Please refer to the longest "Two Witnesses" thread to understand more about this. In regard to translation, I adhere to the King James version but also scan other versions as well for complete understanding. Thanks for chiming in. May God Bless you on your journey! Not a big fan of the King James translations, for it (and many other Mainstream translations) hides the Holy name of God, Jehovah (Yahweh). Never understood that.
