Random observations of interest. Do with this information as you will. I typed this out about 5 months ago out of interest. Some is speculation and must be dealt with accordingly.


John is told to eat a scroll from an angel that is at first pleasing and has good flavor, but hurts to digest.
Ezekiel is told to eat a scroll from an angel that has woe and judgment written on it.
There is a scroll that has judgment and woe on it in the book of zechariah.

John is told to measure the worshippers in the temple and leave out the nations (those of wordly-ness).
Zerubbabel has a measuring line to measure the temple.

Man clothed in linen swears there shall be 1260 days left for (?) in book of Daniel (ch. 12)
Ezekiel (ch.9) has a man clothed in linen that puts a seal on believers who accept the gospel in Jerusalem but is told that 6 men with weapons of slaughter will kill the non-accepting people (children/mothers/all). Says many will either accept or deny the gospel (their heads are hard as flint)
Revelation has somebody that seals the Jewish believers (144k)

Zechariah states that the two olive trees feed the lamp with oil and are God’s two anointed ones that stand before the throne. Zerubbabel will bring forth the capstone (Jesus) with shouts of “grace, grace to it! ‘yes, yes, please’”. Zerubbabel had started the work of the temple and he will also finish it. Zerubbabel is told “not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit”. Joshua is told “if you keep my charge and my commands you shall also judge His house and have a spot to walk among those (men of wonder) who stand near”. Joshua is a brand plucked from the fire that the Angel of the Lord has his iniquity removed and places a new crown on His head. His filthy clothes are changed into glorious clean garments.
Malachi states to “remember the law of Moses”, and that before the great and terrible Day of the Lord, His messenger Elijah shall pave the way of the Lord and prepare the hearts of men to receive Christ’s Kingdom.

In 1 Kings there is scripture showing that two cherubim (angels) overshadow the mercy seat (God’s throne) and they are made of olive wood.

At the transfiguration on the Mount, Elijah and Moses appear with the Lord in His glorified Kingdomly apparel, they stand on His left and his right.

John the Baptist laid the foundation for the pathway of the Lord, he was Elijah in spirit. You could argue that he prepared many to receive the true baptism of Christ, that only repenting through a means of a baptism could sanctify and restore you to Holiness. Thus he aided in laying the foundation of God’s temple, that is, the spiritual temple, the body of Christ. John the Baptist may have arguably been Zerubbabel in spirit for this reason and also because he brought forth the capstone, the branch, Jesus. Could be a dual fulfillment prophecy.

Michael the archangel when fighting the devil in Jude vs. 9 (?) does not use a sword of power or might of his own against the devil, but uses the Word of God, the Lord, as His sword.

Gabriel seems to bring the most important messages concerning the bringing abouts of God’s Kingdom (to Daniel, and to Zechariah, and Mary) while Michael seems to appear as God’s most prominent warrior angel. Gabriel-Moses type? Michael-Elijah type?

The only other angelic being that restrains the powers of darkness besides Gabriel is Michael the archangel (Daniel)

Michael stands up before the time of Jacob’s trouble.

An archangel or “the” archangel (arguably and exactness unknown if there is only one archangel) blows God’s trumpet at the announcement of the coming of Christ and His Kingdom. Gabriel raises his hands and swears it shall be for 1260 days. (2 Thessalonians 4:16). The “rapture” happens at the last trump (1st Corinthians 15:51-53).
