Apparently You didn't understand the point or the levity of it at all. It wasn't about or had nothing to do with our relationship in the sense of you understanding this scenario.

It was only meant to be a metaphorical example of both you and my behavior. It was meant to be taken as a hyperbole and not actually the correct date setting of any happening or to cause you to look bad or me to be as paranoid as was portrayed in the story. It was simply to reveal the point of your and many others mindset and to that obstinate determination once that mindset takes hold.

The same example of the dog in the story without the levity....yes the the dog is fine...Don't you get it there is no real dog, no half truths, no date setting, he isn't buried upon a hill looking out at vast lands! He is resting well within my mind enjoying his moment of fame upon the pages of a fictional story.

Neither is the scenario I told about you, completely true. Yet, you are not a figment of my imagination, unlike the dog you exist, unlike the dog, some of the scenes in the story are true...not the murder scenes or the glazed eyes or the ripping of the throat possibilities.

The point of both stories (the dog) and (of you) is that of the (mindset) displayed once one believes something might be true...the man might be trying to harm you if he removes your chains. the rapture might happen at that time. You might be that (person/prophet/witness) you believe you are! The stories were not as all truths, but to make the point... characters of all nature can self destruct if they have such a (Mindset in and of themselves) that all other reasoning even revelations, even truths, become secondary in their own obstinate reasoning.

As for me filling up the bathtub with water. Although it has been many years since I thought that way. Good idea if the rapture would have appeared, there would have been plenty of water for all those others left behind...and you...lol.
