What is hard for me to grasp is why the US, as in the citizenry, haven't demanded labeling.

With the outcry against Monsanto it seems like the logical next step.

Europe has long since said WTF on this and many other food purity issues. And here we sit lining the pockets of huge corporate interests and their politician pets.

If I-522 goes down in flames by the voters own hands, well, maybe we do deserve exactly what our government is dishing.

Good question. How is the US different from other countries who have demanded this. What gives. Are we THAT dumb downed here.

Think of all the big ag producers and investors that will be inconvenienced by this.

Next people are going to demand antibiotic free meat and dairy and honey. Yes, honey in this country is often contaminated with antibiotics used on bees. Again, banned in Europe.

Sadly, my honey is not, and I own the bees.
