She takes Lantus, the same stuff they use for people. I have only been giving it to her for about 3 months. The vet had some extra insulin they gave to me so I didnt have to buy any right away. I called the vet today to get a refill on her prescription. Last month when I called to check prices the cheapest place I found was sams club for $98. Today the vet told me it is now $198 for the same size vial at sams club. I was quite confused and asked why, she said "Its because of obamacare. Now that everyone has to have insurance the drug companies can charge whatever they want" Quoting: Marax Lucky for me that vial will last about 6 months, so I can afford it. But what about the people that use 1 or more of those vials a month? CHANGE! This is what we will have in our life savings after Øbama is finished with us. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49463973 Today my hubby was denied a much needed test. Doc said they are already using obama guidelines. If it was "up to him" he would have him get it, but says that the insurance companies won't pay for it now under these new 'rules' Get ready people, the death squads will be acting as God, and the doctors will no longer be able to be doctors. I specifically asked him if it was because of Obamacare and he said yes. I have excellent insurance. It has already begun the changes for all of us. Obamacare is the death squad...bottom line. Its true....its already started, I was at a cardiologist office today and I was shocked by the doc. He shook his head and blamed obamacare. I am furious to say the least. Its begun now....not 2014.... Its not up to doctors anymore.....but Obama |

You're darned right we'll be commenting. I'm 67, my boyfriend is 74, I have a lady friend who is 83 - none of take any sort of prescription or OTC drugs or medications, nothing (we're also normal weight). People don't want to take responsibility for their health, they'd rather live on prescriptions instead of "working at it" and eating a healthy diet. It's amazing how many conditions and diseases can be mitigated or even cured by healthy foods. The norm should not be to slog around as a sick obese pill and junk-food addict. So there. Once again, I was referring to, but should have clarified, those people who DO exercise, who DO watch what they eat, they STILL will be diabetic regardless, and will require insulin. A woman I worked with was a health nut. No smoking, no drinking, thin, and worked out every day. She looked down at people who did not take care of themselves. One day she passed out, and went to the ER. She was diabetic, and there was no history of diabetes in her family. She is a brittle diabetic, 4 shots a day, and semi-controlled, even though she is meticulous. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

He is 65 and uninsureable. IF he can get insurance its going to be crazy expensive plus his meds just doubled in price. I bet he would pay more now for insulin and monthly insurance premiums than he does for his fucking house every month... Quoting: Marax If your neighbor is 65 he is eligible for Medicare. Everyone 65 and over is qualified automatically. I have United Medicare Advantage Plan and a prescription part D pays for all generic meds for a max of 8.00. Go to Walmart and it is $4.00 with no prescription plan. The United Medicare is taken out of my SS check. It is about $100.00 now. |

Get everyone addicted to their poisonous drugs then run the price up to the moon. Bait and switch. This is what happens when they create a communist monopoly. They have no competition and so can charge whatever they want. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49453810 For me...I would never take any of their drugs but understand that some people have to have them especially the poor souls that let those butchers cut out their tyroid glands. . And worse, half of the illnesses/ disorders/ diseases can be cured. Look for natural and cures abroad. Look for the root cause of your illness, quit treating only the symptom. |

Changed Cat food to Fancy Feast/ Meow mix maybe (orange platic bottom with pull off top) In a can. He is no longer diabetic. You need to do some research on-line and thank me when you save alot of money. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10630957 Patches is a Snow shoe cat he not only lost weight but no longer "sick". He runs around and attacks things and plays. He is 9 years old and we changed his food 2 years ago. Rambo the Mainecoon eats anything (human food, loves peanuts) and rules the house/yard. Boil chicken and raw meat are good too. You need to do research online and save your cats and money. Its the first 3 things its made off that really matter. what did you feed him before the change? Hard food, not always the cheapest. But a lot of them have a corn by-product as the main thing. |

First, about Obamacare...this is just early November, can you imagine the stories that people will have as the year winds down? This is like some kind of living nightmare. Second, I had a cat that was diabetic. She was so great about letting me give her the shots. I hope your cat responds well. ENIGMA |
