"Life is a Journey, not a Destination" "Stop and smell the Roses". Life is a test from my understanding. The path is narrow.

I don't have answers and struggle OP. I am a christian women and I believe but the Satan has my flesh in his hooks with alcohol. It's so hard for me.

Life is depressing for the most part. You work hard for what, shelter, heat, water, food and see no one you love.

I am depressed right now as well. Nothing in this life truly has any meaning. It's very clear. Our rewards are in heaven not on earth.

I do everything for that ONE or TWO or maybe Three times if lucky a year our family gets all together. All the work year round for maybe 8-10 days together total. Serious!

Be thankful you have 8 or 10 days a year. As for me, I am thankful for work. To be able to toil, play, explore, and to be able to feel the pleasure and pain in all of it. Work can be grueling sure, and it can be many other things at the same time. As for the point in all of this, I dunno, to be, just to be. An old friend told me long ago " We are human beings not human doings, so concentrate more on how to be, and less on how to do". I think to expand on that I would add when we consider others, what we should ask ourselves is what are they feeling that is how they are being, not what they are doing. It's just a journey, try to enjoy the ride, and be thankful you got a ticket! Peace
