User ID: 37755563 ![]() 01/06/2014 08:08 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Holy crap, Obammy's face was a poem. I could pretty much visualize the vitriolic hatred manifesting as swirls of hellish fire in his mind. ![]() Banned as usual. “It is far easier to be a weakling than to be a Real Man. Were the Earth less harsh or the circumstances of life less austere, man would destroy himself before the shrine of the languid goddess. Only Real Men can with safety destroy the tangled forests and wilderness of Earth and make from them gardens, but will those who inherit the gardens be Real Men? The law decrees that they must be, or the wilderness will reclaim its own.” |

I'm really hoping that you will find inspiration from this man's words as I did this morning. He's great with a cup of coffee. Quoting: Éireann Thank you Kumo for posting the video! Kumo's post is being reused from this thread: Thread: Breaking : Congressional Democrats have reportedly given the president 72 hours If a team of medical experts were gathered to fix the system and right the wrongs of Obamacare, I'd definitely pick Dr. Carson. Quoting: Kumo77 If anyone has not seen this speech, watch it. He totally owned and pissed off Obama at this year's National Prayer Breakfast! This man is someone who puzzles me and compels me to ask how one so well read could still be a Christian. There is obviously something more to this Christ thing than I've been led to believe. He isn't foaming at the mouth. He didn't insult me with lines like "you must be filled with the devil since you don't believe", nor did he mention Christ very often, but didn't you feel it? I could feel the spirit of Christ's teachings working in and through this man. Everything about him wishes to be more like the Christ. That's really powerful right there. Really powerful. This is a man who I would be proud to call friend, mentor, President. His humility is, well, humbling! He isn't stupid, and he isn't any less powerful because he is soft spoken. He's ten times more powerful than any sing-song preacher or politician I've ever heard. I believe the accusatory and inflammatory holier-than-thou people are very much the minority Christians. You know, the ones on TV. Most are humble and live by example. Many not even part of organized Christianity. Dr. Carson is a good man. ![]() This has been my experience too. Carson is a true Christian and a much better diplomat than we have in office. 5 ***** for the thread. "There is obviously something more to this Christ thing than I've been led to believe." Gee... Ya think? Fabulous That isn't at all what I meant and you know it. Anyone who has studied knows that the Bible is a compiled work from many different writers who shared very different beliefs. Many of the translations of the texts have been purposefully skewed to support a particular political paradigm. These revelations were the reason I left the church. I simply could not support an institution which willingly and purposefully misled its followers. Therein lay the root of my question. I thank you for your quick judgement of my intentions. I'm certain there was a far more thoughtful response you could have given me that was free of ego. I am neither pompous nor arrogant and I am the furthest from genius any human could be. My intention was not to offend, but to question. I'm sorry that was so offensive to you. And thank you for belittling my quest to find a truth you seem to think is so blatantly obvious that anyone who doesn't see what you see is an idiot.
