Not wanting to derail another great thread Cyndexia posted about the 72hr fix of the disaster called Obamacare, I thought it would be better to make a thread so I could post my comments about the man in the video below. I'm really hoping that you will find inspiration from this man's words as I did this morning. He's great with a cup of coffee. Thank you Kumo for posting the video! If anyone has not seen this speech, watch it. He totally owned and pissed off Obama at this year's National Prayer Breakfast!

Some of the most brilliant minds in all of history, were those of Christians. Including Christ Himself. I'm so tired of arrogant self-important "geniuses", acting like believers in Christ are all backwards inbreds. When THEY are the ones who living in the dark. Anyone who has studied knows that the Bible is a compiled work from many different writers who shared very different beliefs. Many of the translations of the texts have been purposefully skewed to support a particular political paradigm. These revelations were the reason I left the church. I simply could not support an institution which willingly and purposefully misled its followers. Therein lay the root of my question. I thank you for your quick judgement of my intentions. I'm certain there was a far more thoughtful response you could have given me that was free of ego. I am neither pompous nor arrogant and I am the furthest from genius any human could be. My intention was not to offend, but to question. I'm sorry that was so offensive to you. And thank you for belittling my quest to find a truth you seem to think is so blatantly obvious that anyone who doesn't see what you see is an idiot.
