Louisiana 25-acre sinkhole brings mini-earthquakes, explosion fears.
Scientists are now saying they will need to monitor for decades an enormous -- and growing -- Louisiana sinkhole that has already forced hundreds to evacuate, contaminated an aquifer and has been registering increased seismic activity, including mini-earthquakes.

What is known as the Bayou Corne sinkhole in southern Louisiana is now reportedly 25 or so acres in size and 350 feet deep, having opened in August 2012 when the wall of a subterranean salt mine collapsed and the ground above it was seemingly swallowed by the earth. It has since filled with water.

"While it was a manmade action that started this, it’s geology and natural forces that are making everything happen," Patrick Courreges, a policy analyst for the Louisiana Dept. of Natural Resources, told TheVerge.com. "And geology happens slow."

When it occurred, Assumption Parish reportedly ordered the 300-or-so nearby residents to evacuate their homes. Hundreds have done so, although more than a few have remained behind, regardless of the danger.

Notice how they didn't bring this into the MSM until they'd spent an adequate amount of time studying it?

They now know they can't keep its activity a secret anymore, word is getting out… it will have to be introduced into MSM.

Because it's a big deal, folks. But any of us who have read through and participated in the excellent think-tank threads over the past year already know that.

Meanwhile, a YouTube video garnering nearly 7 million views since its posting in August shows the sinkhole, which is expected to at least double in size over time, swallowing numerous trees.
 Quoting: [link to www.foxnews.com]

In MSM speak, that actually means "Nobody knows how big it's gonna get, and we know for sure it'll be at least 50 acres."

Which means: NEVER BEFORE SEEN THING HAPPENING NOW IN THE US.

And it involves an absolute fuckload of methane gas that has been collecting in a pocket near the site, after leaking into a fucking aquifer … the water table, people. And it could go boom.

Hey OP! Just thought you might want to check out
this GLP thread that was started in April this year.
Has some really good videos and pics...some other
theories are offered by several authors on what's up
including the sinkhole a result of an undersea
volcano offshore Louisianna!

Good to keep this time-bomb disaster in front of the
peps...can't believe they aren't moving away from
that area.

Keep up the good work!
Cheers!

Thread: Is the Gulf of Mexico EXPANDING? "Earth Expansion Theory" & Why Bayou Corne Sinkhole & Oil Platform Emergencies will Increase!

P.S. There are many pages on this thread and will take
a while to find the video...but one man in a suburb of
New Orleans some distance from the sinkhole actually
found methane bubbles in the water in the middle of his
front yard. That can't be good! lol! Video is on the
thread somewhere.

Check at 0:30 on the video at that link.

He said FIVE THOUSAND feet deep.

…That's quite a stark difference from Fox's reported 350 feet deep.

Somebody better save that video.

So who's right?

Is it Fox with 350 ft. depth…

Or it is Al Jazeera with 5000 ft.?

Is the sinkhole a mile deep?

What with all these sinkholes happening around Florida it kinda seems like the whole area might be going under…

Maybe it's just a major land shift, of areas that were shaped in the forming of the Gulf of Mexico (asteroid crater) … basically just clods of land not being supported by much, with murky, gassy ocean underneath!

You guys it's just amazing how dumb Fox is being over this…

It really is some of the first serious MSM attention this has gotten yet…

ALL BECAUSE Of a viral YouTube video, and they couldn't control that so now they have to come clean about it. Lots of good articles lately, and pretty soon this will be commonly discussed nation wide, maybe even worldwide.

Look at this article…

[link to www.theverge.com]
5,000 feet underground suddenly broke
 Quoting: [link to www.theverge.com]

It's the one Fox quotes, and it says the salt mine was 5000 ft. deep…

So WHY is Fox being so fail about this? Is a slow introduction method they think will keep people more pacified, are anchors on Fox tomorrow gonna be talking about this "350 ft. deep" sinkhole on the news and then correcting their info the next day, or days later???

Strange times.

Hey I mean, they are claiming THE SALT MINE (which is 5000 ft. deep) has caused this… so far their only solution has been to sue the mining company. Seriously?

My point is… if indeed the sinkhole is a result of the mine… then why stop at 350 ft.? We have to assume it's 5000 ft. If it couldn't possibly be 5000 ft. deep and it really is only 350 ft. deep… then why are they using the salt mine as an excuse?

I don't believe the shit they've come up with. I think it's a much bigger deal than that.

Mini-earthquakes? From a 350ft. hole? Make that a 5000ft. hole and it's way more believable.

The sinkhole initially spanned about an acre. Today it covers more than 24 acres and is an estimated 750 feet deep.

Oh really!

It's 750 from this source.

If it did blow, any guess on how long it would burn with all that gas?

Months?

Years?

That's some pretty biblical/end timey material right there…

Anybody got any links about anything like this from mythology or prophecy?
