DNA analysis completed by Florida officials on Tuesday reportedly confirms DNA provided by Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston matches sample taken from underwear of the woman who has accused him of sexual battery. [link to espn.go.com] The DNA match alone does not prove that Winston, a leading Heisman Trophy candidate, sexually assaulted the woman, as the accuser's family claimed in a statement released Wednesday by a Tampa, Fla.-based attorney. But it does indicate that Winston, who has yet to talk to Tallahassee police or the state attorney investigating the case, had his DNA associated with the accuser on Dec. 7, 2012, when the accuser said she was sexually assaulted. ...I wonder if this will be a distraction to a team that may be headed to a National Championship game?

The authorities should take the DNA of all college athletes upon matriculation and enter it into a national database. Then any woman who is raped by these animals can just submit her panties for cross reference to the database. It will speed up the process of convicting them, and be a real deterrent for them to ever consider forcibly raping any coed. If they dont like the policy, they dont have to play ball. If they dont play ball, they wont be on campus to assault anybody. It will be the equivalent of a CCW lowering crime.
