There was something special, entrancing, in his voice during that campaign in 2008. He was the most effective speaker I have ever seen. This man with no life experience, no accomplishments, apparently only moderate intelligence.

That special something seemed to leave after he took office. No longer needed? He wasn't reelected in 2012 but they fixed that via a miscount, so he was given his full 8 years that he "earned" with whatever spirit possessed him, and us, in 2008.
