UCLA Protesters Call Good Grammar Racist
A University of California Los Angeles professor recently came under fire from a number of students for what they described as racist behavior. According to professor emeritus Val Rust, the entire controversy arose from his effort to instill in his students a higher grammar proficiency.

“I have attempted to be rather thorough on the papers and am particularly concerned that they do a good job with their bibliographies and citations,” he explained in a letter, noting “these students apparently don’t feel that is appropriate.”
He claimed that some students accused him of “micro-aggression” for pointing out mistakes in grammar and punctuation.
Rust noted that another complaint arose regarding a conversation about race that took place among a couple of students in one class. A number of demonstrators took part in the protest as some even occupied Rust’s classroom.

Racism is a difficult charge to disprove, which explains why it is such a popular accusation among leftists.

Grasp of language is a tool that sets the mind free. A good idea that can be easily communicated is more powerful than any bullet.

Everybody makes grammar and spelling mistakes, but for people to not aspire to improve their grasp of language is insane.

Its like these kind of people have never read 1984 and understood what newspeak was about and could lead to.

People that can read and write are dangerous to the overlords!

And the scary thing is, that newspeak is absolute reality.

And these young adults are just out of schools that marked their homework with smiley faces and that taught them "good feelings/emotions = 'good".

When anyone is taught "things that FEEL good are good" they do not have to ever be told "things that FEEL bad are bad/evil wrong" because our brains do it for us. It is programming.

Now you got kids growing up meeting a professor that doesn't put happy faces on their papers and is correcting them in their English and punctuation. It FEELS bad to them so like the programmed individuals that they are, they respond with the only conclusion that they can draw in their minds - you are a naughty, mean, baddie racist professor.

Guys, understand this. When somebody says "X is" your brain also program's the inverse without them even saying it.

College writing is tough. It is the exact opposite of the casual writing that youth have grown accustomed to through emails and texting. Yes, it does matter that your word usage, grammar, and punctuation be flawless. When people write scientific papers, business plans, or even a complaint to some party they can expect to get zero respect and to not be taken seriously if they are not even capable of assembling a paragraph.

Does this inspire:

"Hi, I bought you'r vaccuum recently Its the 1 for 39.99 at walsmart.
first time i used it it worked good but then the handle kept comin off the hose an the motor began makin a humin noise when the bag got fool. I took it back 2 walsmart an they told be I was goin to have to ship it to you.I dont have the money or the time or the pachience to deal with all this. I just wants my money back."

That's why the elites want a mongrel world to rule over. The primitive races always long to go back to their original state. Even those which are educated in the Western way and apt in it, deep inside have a longing to destroy all its progress. Only the white races in their original form have in them the unquenchable aspiration to rule over nature. This is undeniable as for thousands of years before meeting each other the primitive races rejoiced in nature unmolested while the whites struggled with an unstoppable will to rule over it. The mix of these races creates an inner conflict which results in entropy. Mongrel peoples while in a majority state and unsupervised by white administration inevitably degenerate into chaos.

What are you trying to prove anyway? That bad grammar is ok? That you are smarter?

I think the point here is that black ebonic students must be held to account to the same degree as white students. All of us who have been through college are well aware how stringently writing is taken. And why shouldn't it be? Should we as learned citizens not be masters of our own language?

However with the right programming the primitive races and their mongrel derivations pose no threat to a well made control system and their elite creators. However what these elites don't take into consideration is that while these races won't give them as much competition for hegemony, they won't be able to maintain such a beautiful world for them to enjoy as they do now. I guess they're planning to remain in their own private countries and allow the mongrel slaves to keep their goods and services being produced.

I see no actual corrections there, just some rephrasing, in some cases making the sentences actually worst off that they initially were. Specially the "for people not aspiring for improvement". I think that's just plain bad writing.

The point is there are virtually an infinite number of ways to improve grammar. The more concepts or ideals communicated in writing the more improvements to grammar that potentially exist.

Think of it as a limit. You can correct grammar to infinity but the message will never change. It's like precision. You can work to the one-millionth decimal place but is that level of precision really needed to get the job done?

What's more important is the message (clear, concise and effective) and the logic behind it. I'm not saying grammar is not important, but there is a LIMIT that it is pointless exceeding.
