aww! Much love and peaceful comforting memories to Doomish and everyone in this thread who is mourning the loss of their beloved pets. They really are a huge part of our families, being treated as such throughout the good times and bad, they were always here for us.

I've lost 2 kitties to cancer over the years. Both were mamma's only girls, one after the other. They were such comforts through terrible times. The first died of Squamous Cell Carcinoma at age 11. The second of VASF (vaccine associated fibrosarcoma) at age 12. I'll never vaccinate another animal or myself. This is how I learned of the perils of vaccines, at the expense of my tiny little girl. I still cry thinking of what she went through. One thing is for sure, my vet and I both learned a lot from her death. The vet will never pressure me to vaccinate my animals ever again. Even though it is a City law, it can kill them.

I have 2 cats now and am very glad that I didn't wait long to get the first of 2. Even though a new pet can never replace another, they do bring new love and joy to us.

I'm sorry to hear about your kitty babies. I bet your lap felt empty after they left you. Good for you for giving love to new cats who needed it. The are more than enough loving animals that need homes. That is why my husband and I will be getting another canine companion when the time is right.
