My sister and I both started out with hoarseness, then coughing, sore throat then more sever symptoms. Unbeknownst to each other, I left work early to seek a walk in clinic and she was already en route to one. Three clinics were so full they were not taking any other patients. At the Walgreen's clinic, the parking lot was completely full and they were full also. Finally found one that was 4 times the cost but off the beaten path and waited only a couple of hours. The nurse mentioned the number of employees at the clinic that have been sick the past couple of days. I got a script for Bactrim, steroid shot and a couple of other scripts. The company I work for has had the amount of sick absences in the past two weeks that they normally experience for a full year...Somethings up.
