One Canadian retailer in Toronto went above and beyond offering customers waiting for the generators they purchased to arrive at the store.


Canadian Tire takes customers awaiting generators out for dinner
Lake Shore Blvd. E. and Leslie St. store got a special shipment of generators but they didn't arrive by closing time. So the store took 50 people to Boston Pizza as they waited.

"As power outages from Saturday night’s ice storm dragged into Sunday afternoon, crowds descended on Canadian Tire looking for generators. Some were disappointed — at first."
