User ID: 32254156 United States12/25/2013 08:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Re: Santa got me a Nexus 10 Android Tablet --- need help with HDMI cord (calling all Tech Savvy GLPers) Well I haven't seen the Nexus 10 tablet but have a Droid RAZR Maxx and there are two ports side-by-side, and I assume Nexus 10 tablet is the same, one for charging via micro usb and one is for HDMI but it looks almost exactly like the USB (probably white tho). There is a special cord that plugs in there that you have to buy, but it is different than the micro USB that you charge with. Hope this helps. |

Best site for cables is monoprice. They have everything and at various feet depending on your needs. [link to www.monoprice.com] I have to agree with the others that said go for a Chromecast. $35. and it'll let you stream and control movies, pics, and music from across the room. [link to play.google.com (secure)] Keep in mind though that DRM will block some vids (legal)from running on both the Chromecast and an HDMI cable. Another benefit to the Chromecast is that multiple tablets, phones, computers, can connect to it. My kids and their friends all connect to the Chromecast to play music from each others collections. |
