We moved from Florida to NC December 2012. Hated our rental home so most of our belongings stayed packed, we knew we were not staying.
Found a house we loved, moved 6 months later.
2 pieces of jewelry have never surfaced. The jewelry my wife wore the most and she did wear while in the rental. They are only worth about $100 but have more sentimental value . Not terribly small pieces and were not left in vanity drawers at rental, we never used them. The house was empty and professionally cleaned.

Also missing 2 jean jackets for my children. 1 cheap, not a big deal and 1 we bought in 2006 I would like to find. A jean jacket with the Disney character Jack on the back that my first son wore, second son had just begun to wear. Both these jackets were in use, can't understand how they disappeared.

I remember where I packed my wife's jewelry box for the second move. Moved it myself in my truck with me. We have checked everywhere for the 4 missing objects.

I just wonder if they are still in my possession. It's a big house, did they get stashed somewhere?
