But when I looked into his eyes.. I knew it wasn't him at all.. I was so devastated I was crying terribly and when I woke I woke up instantly crying until I realized it was just a dream. I have never woken up crying from a dream until then. It really freaked me out.. |

Take note of which side you were sleeping on when you wake from the nightmare. 2. Use the loo, empty bladder, splash some water on your face if you wish. (helps you sleep more deeply) 3. Drink a few ounces of water. (changes your biochemistry) 4. Lie back down to fall asleep on the opposite side you woke up on. (gravity will pool the blood to a different part of your brain causing different dreams) Weird personal note: I find I have mundane and problem solving or creative dreams sleeping on my left side. I have romantic, sexual, emotional dreams and nightmares on my right side. Other extras would be to read a few Psalms, meditate, pray, and such to relax, find peace. 1-4 has biological reasons for changing your dreams :) Good luck! |

I don't know why it felt like I was possessed or something.. We use to be best friends.. she moved back to wisconsin later. But I felt so guilty and evil in the dream.. like I really committed such a terrible thing. I feel so awful after having dreams like this. It truly disgusts me. |

So I find it odd that I have such evil dreams. |

You control your nightmares you just have to, keep telling yourself that before you sleep. Nightmare really have no reason except the world around you is in conflict and works into your dreams. There is nothing real about them, it is manifestations of fears that make itself into nightmare, like a movie you mind wrote. You control everything in the dream if you can tell yourself that, believe it! It is true, it is yours and you can direct it and take the pillow from the dads hand and tell him he is having a nightmare, then guide him to lay down and sleep. If someone is attacking you, make a weapon appear, any you need. It is the truth you and only you control these, you can feel much better when you are able to get control of your nightmares. Tell you something else, by doing this you also are more free in your waking hours, you have got more confidence! |

But I couldn't say exactly what is causing it. May you in Jesus Christ name, stop having nightmares of this kind, and anything causing nightmares may it go away from you so you can have peace and no longer be disturbed. |

Though I am a true believer in that our dreams are sorting out for us that we are unable to and, if not that, forcing us to see our reality for what it is. I have read and also believe this to be true that this dream of ours is simply a closing of one chapter of your life and the opening of another (or the death of a trend your were on). Whether it be that friend, that "persona" you held when with her (I know we girls try hard to resemble each other, as a compliment, the twins or something, but it is just to find common ground and is okay if we pretend just to get along). Dreams are important. I think we should get plenty of sleep for that reason when we are troubled emotionally. They will tell us what we are afraid to think about. Symbolically presented with metaphors and the dark and unpredictable, our dreams are a motion movie of our lives and where we have been, what we have absorbed and who we have connected with. Yes, you are moving to the next chapter is my interpretation. New job, new lover, new home, new act, something that will result in leaving a part of who you were once in the past. Regret is the feeling you are left with when you do not make a change. Regret would come after destroying the life of someone you once held dear so that is regret (regret is hell of a state to be in). Had a dream long ago which showed me the future and it was not pretty. Been watching closely ever since. |
