Storm Stayed - Never seen it this bad. What's the weather like and where are you?
MTO (Ministry of Transport) just closed every road in two entire counties which is completely unheard of. OPP are escorting people off the roads. My town is "closed". Seriously, it's "closed". All stores and shops are closed. All plows pulled, all city and county equipment for that matter has been taken off the roads. We've all been told to stay inside. They even closed the main park!

Lived up here for many, many years and I can honestly say that I've never seen it this bad - EVER.

By the time this storm passes, we will have gotten well over 3' of snow (maybe even over 4') and we're still dealing with high winds and temps dipping down to -40°. This storm isn't suppose to even start letting up until early tomorrow.

As a gauge, we get around 10' of snow fall annually here. By the time this shit passes, we'll have gotten 7' or more and it's January.

I shovelled out an hour ago and it looks like I did nothing.

Fuck me, I need to move somewhere warm.

What's it like where you are?

Well, we in the Netherlands have the warmest winter ever up to now with record high temps. I have two Malamutes sleeping in the yard and every morning when I step out they look at me like it's my fault we have no snow yet huffy

Say, can't we make a deal and split in the middle? Seriously, take care, stay in and keep us posted. Best of luck.

That's the other side of the country. It's -40° here won't be raining anytime soon.
