Shriners - Help me understand them. My grandfather was one of them
He passed away many years ago...

I remember his Mason ring. It was gold, had an onyx stone with the 'G' and the compass and square.

Most of all though, I remember all the Shriner plaques all over his house and the fez hats.

I have recently found out that Shriners are beyond the 33 degree masons, and that you had to get to that level to become one.

Is there truth to this? anyone care to elaborate more?

U most certainly dont hqve to be a 33rd degree to join the shrine. U can take th3 1 day mason class and as long as u have someone in the shrine to sponsor u . U can join rather easy. Its mostly rich older men getting drunk

Lets split it up in parts:
1 - Masonry have many different rites. The most common(at least here in Brazil) is the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, which has the top level at 33. The Memphis-Misraim rite, has more than 33 levels. Is not really very clear, but is almost common sense that it has 84 levels.

Now...
If you're talking about the Zemial shrine, than a bit of eplanation is required:
Regardless of the masonic level, there's top level in every rite, which are many. As of these top levels are holders of "the great secret", they can, sometimes be invited to be part of the Zemial shrine.
To picture the Zemial shrine, imagine a pyramid. The base level is us, above it, authorities sharing the same space with masonry of all rites. At the top of it there's what we call "illuminati", or "the enlightened" ones. They are holders of "the greater secret" and may be invited to join the upper level of the pyramid which is the Zemial shrine. In this level they are able to get in touch with some entities, lower entities, all evil of course, but they hold secrets and mundane powers which are passed on to the ones joining the Zemial shrine. These entities may or not be nephilims. Above this level, there are 4 more, including the all seeing eye, which is literally, occupied by a false bringer of light(latin Lux), or the one we know as Lucifer. With that said you can have an idea...

OP

Don't listen to any of these shills for satan saying that Masonry and Shriners are wonderful! They work for satan and will be going to hell if they don't repent. The masons and shriners are satanic at the top - even though most of them are just low on the totem pole and never discover the truth.

Here's the connection between masonry and satanism.

Your family probably was unaware of the satanism involved but I suggest you get away from all things mason and shriner and come to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ is always attacked because Jesus is your hope and salvation and gives you eternal life.

Learn the truth about the satanic masons.

Don't listen to these yards OP, your grandpa and my uncle were the closest of friends since the end of NAM that.pretty much makes us cousins.

The secret is simple, he became a spiritual healer that helps the souls come back from a dark place to cure the vessel it wakes in. And sometimes these people born with crippling deformities are trapped souls who if they should pass on will only be born that way again

Here's the undeniable truth about why Masonry is not compatible with Christianity.

Nothing but Biblical truth here - anybody that denies the evidence is a shill for satan guaranteed!

All shriners are masons. Not all masons are shriners.

Man they are evil. They offer free hospital and medical procedures for kids. So evil.

Re: Shriners - Help me understand them. My grandfather was one of them
My grandfather was Buttercup the clown in the Melha Shriners. He would do two circuses and many parades and party's all throughout the year. He never was paid since all the work was volunteer and the money that was paid went directly to the childrens hospitals that help needy children who cant afford medical care. The Boston burns hospital was the best in the country. Then recently the top Poo Bahs went to the dark side and got caught embezzling huge amounts of donation funds and the organization is listing and as far as I am concerned has sunk. I used to give regularly to the Shriners now I wont give one red cent. Too bad all good things come to an end some time.
