Law firm using software to make Sandy Hook Final Report searchable; may release to public

It seems crazy that they would not simply ask for copies of the pre-PDF versions of each document.

This is good news. It was damn there impossible to filter through all that. I am sure a few dedicated people already did an OCR text conversion by themselves. We need not dependency on a law firm or "hope" availability to general public.

We can get a OCR crow fund going.

Even a normal PDF is searchable l once opened.

The problem when doing forensics on documents is that you cannot rely on searchable text only. Handwriting does not get caught, neither do pictures.

I recall reading that the committee also has the redacted copies, why or what are they hiding even from the committee?

I am grateful that this committee at least is bucking back against the BS they were handed to sift through but I doubt they would ever be able allowed to come forth with any info that contradicts the official BS.

Only hope might be the law firm hired to organize the dump pile....

The problem is that the vast majority of Sandy Hook documents have been (purposely) printed out, possibly even copied for several generations, and then re-scanned as PDFs (or some equivalent process). My assumption is that software exists to "crap-ify" the output. Most SH documents, therefore, are not searchable.

Reminds,me of the crappy photos the fbi releases of their fabricated suspects

Every single person said to be involved in Sandy Hook--whatever their name really is--got up and did something the morning of 12/14/12.

It's just a question of what that something was.

Something happened. No amount of people screaming "It happened as stated!" nor screaming "It never happened!" changes that fact.

Let's put it another way.

If Sandy Hook is a 100% fabrication, then a LOT of things happened that day:

1. Paul Vance became a felon
2. Every officer who presented fabricated testimony became a felon
3. Every teacher, staff member, parent or other witness who presented fabricated testimony became a felon (especially according to Paul Vance)
4. It is very likely the governor of Connecticut became a felon

That's just the tip of the iceberg.

Such a story does not represent something "not happening," in fact it could be argued that such a story is actually bigger than the official story.

Gosh, I can run all of the PDF reports through OCR. I will be glad to upload them and post a link here when they are ready.
