In a 24 hour day where most people spend nearly 8 hours sleeping, 8 hours at work, 1-2 hours driving to and from work, 2-3 hours a day eating not everybody can catch every post on GLP. It's new to me Evan. Thanks for posting. "God forbid we should ever be 20 years without such a rebellion. The people cannot be all, & always, well informed... If they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty... Let them take arms... What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. " - Thomas Jefferson in 1787 |

Lol...I visit GP every day and I missed it. So, condemn me to the ranks of idiots who were stupid enough to miss it...that won't bother me a bit. And good for you, I'm so happy for you that you see everything that's posted before any one else. That said, I studied the two photos. The right one is a little higher in contrast. The features of the "jelly doughnut sized" rock itself also appear on the first photo on the left. The right photo also shows a dark shadow on the right underside. So, the higher contrast MIGHT explain why the rock has magically appeared. However, the "rock" is moved...as if by some method the rock had been lodged from it's original position and has moved to the left. So, the explanation given in the article is plausible. However, strange that it has been dislodged and perfectly placed inches away in exactly the same position. Strange, but not impossible. |

Not to get off topic, but you know what? The "Face on Mars" at Cydonia...everyone's preoccupied with the face...is it a face or isn't it? Well, I'll tell you what...look at the mound itself and ignore the face. It's a perfect 'U' shape, with a straight line (albeit deteriorated) at the top. The sides, especially the lower left side is perfectly smooth and looks to be intentionally smoothed. Look it up yourself. What natural force could possibly produce such a feature? I'd really like an explanation from a geophysicist on that. |

What I find strange is that pictures were taken of the same exact spot. Why? I'd like to see all the photos in between. -- TRUST THE PLAN -- .......WWG1WGA...... ____________________________ still in awe of many things |

I am nowhere near a geophysicist though...so, that's all I got. lol |

There are populations that exist on planets within our solar system that exist in other dimensions, i.e 4-D, 5-D etc. We being 3_D cannot experience dimensions above our own, we can only experience this, and observe 2-D. So the population on Mars can observe us observing Mars with the rover. Rover observes in 3-D. Some being on Mars thought they would have some fun with us and put a rock infront of Rover's view...knowing it would freak us out! We would not see the being as it's above 3-D but we would see the 3-D rock! Whatcharekon?! |

Yeah, i agree the inbetween pics would be very revealing. Although, it's more preferable to have a video take of this, as pics won't be able to tell us if the rock just materialised there suddenly, or 'moved' into position. There was a thread not long ago about living moving rocks, but in the linked videos about these types of rocks, they didn't just get up and wander about! It took them months to move a few cm's. So even IF these were some kind of 'living' rocks on Mars - they'd have to be pretty amazing and move about quickly - something which rover would have observed over and over again. |
