OP believes that all gurus are false teachers except himself.

OPs doubts and skeptical attitude is what's holding him back. If you project doubts and negative thoughts into your reality then that's what you will receive beck tenfold. You harvest what you plant and OPs harvest will be bitter unless he raises his vibrations.

Bashar for sure is a con artist
jsut listen to the way he speaks.
He never lsitens to anyones questions,
he jsut interrupts, makes a joke about the subjest and gives some
obscure awnser that barely awnsers the question
yet he does it so aggresively that the questioner is left speechless with
nothing to say; and probably wouldnt bother anyway, since bashar acts like
he knows everything full stop.

As for any of these teachers
as it is said ' you shall know them by their fruits'

I am not christian.

But I have had an experience with the holy spirit; I have never felt so free and
so capable of giving love and eager to share it.

I'm not saying it's the ultimate.

But look at this reality we are sharing; it is earth.

I have been pretty damn far into new age beliefs and the tip of realities;
nothing has felt as holy and peaceful as my experience with the holy spirit.

On this planet what are the fruits of the different teachers?

Once I thought that by becoming enlightened I would help the whole world,
now I can see I can help the whole world by sharing and by caring for those that need it.

There's all this stuff about the end of the world and we must wake up, Maybe we do have to.
I don't know.

But it does seem like we are being pushed in a certain direction.

As if this life is IT, as If one decision determines your fate forever.

Forever is a very long time.

I don't know anything; I can make observations however.

In my experience most new age beliefs pull people AWAY from our shared reality.

As long as it doesn't scam you financially and has no pyramid scheme,

If it works for you, brings you peace, happiness or joy, and/or provides a way to connect you with like minded people.

Then there is absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Self, is soul. its not spirit. self realization is an awakening of the soul. it isnt spiritual. you are a spirit, soul, body. the soul is the product of the spirit and body meeting. its as a lightbulb; the spirit would be the electricity, the light is the soul anf the body is the buld. the body is to manifest the light that only given by the spirit. theres so much i wish we could talk about. trust me christianity was the last place i wanted to go aswell. it was all so dead and lifeless to me until God became real. and its nothing to do with being in theartbeat of nature or whatever, Could i recommend the book "the latent power of the soul" by watchman nee. its only like 98 pages but i believe it would really bless you. and as far as you thinking the bible is flawed i assure you it isnt. maybe a couple books have been taken out but the center of its message is Christ. God incarnate. His spirit is the one Holy Spirit. and by opening your heart to him in surrend his spirit will enter you. just liike any spiritual posession. its isnt hard to believe. That spirit is the same spirit in the authors of the bible and by the unction of Gods spirit, man wrote. His spirit is living inside of me and it bears witness with the truth of the bible. His spirit bears witness with the word. its an eternal word. a truth written in the eternaity that can not and will not cchange. the bible is the INSPIRED word. it bears witness with the truth. when the truth is in you the words come to life. literally i cant make this up but i bear witness with its reality. i never bought it before brother but its become so alive to me. you simply know that you know that its real

Actually I convinced myself a little while ago that I had made a mistake on a cosmic scale and 'sold my soul'

Since then I figured it might just be that all my lifes fears came up in a big lump all at once in a spiritual moment.

Now I feel much better, happier, free-er and easier to love.

Took me to do what I considered to be the worst thing I could do, to see truly what's in front of me :P

Indeed, sometimes this is the hardest thing to do, but often also the most rewarding.

Besides, selling your soul would imply a exchange of sorts with another party. So as long as you didn't do that I reckon your soul is still yours.

Not that I necessarily believe that its possible in the first place... but who knows
