Positive posts??? We need a change. Veteran posters please chime in.

My wife left just before Thanksgiving and took our children and pets to live with family 6 states away. We were barely making it between our two jobs before she quit her job and just left. Now I have three little girls 2,200 miles away and no money for a lawyer.

I think the posts here has always been 90% negative. I mean scientist says that 90% of all thoughts are negative.

none taken. i peruse this site less and less. eh 90 seems high. eh i don't need a positive influence. i'm worried about other people's negativity it seemed to really start about two years ago.

Agreed there should be more positive posts,one key is not to get upset by the negative posts otherwise you fall into the same trap.Be happy everyone :)

What a load of crap. At least real crap can be composted and turned into fertilizer, negativity just swirls uselessly down the bowl.

Ya, the Mossad/MI5/6/CSIS/NSA have paid agents to divert the discussion. Ignore the 'blacks do' threads, the 'whites f*ed it all up' threads, the 'jews did such and such' (not the anti-zio threads, just the jew threads)etc. There are gems! You now have to mine them instead of simply feasting upon them without effort.

I notice that the times i get ''irritated'' by all the negative posts there always seems to be more of them.

Also if im ''irritated'' about a certain topic, it seem to just flow over of those kinds of posts.

I think its because whenever you are ''irritated'' or happy about something your mind unconsciously will put the attention to that so you notice it more =)

It might that you withouth you knowing it unconsciously pay more attention to the negative posts, therefore it seems like there is more than before?

yeah sifting through chaff to get to the wheat. there is way more chaff than there used to be.

why would said groups try to divert attention. i'm sure glp is not that important of a site in the scheme of things. or am i wrong?

That could be it. but if that's the case then the question is why am i irritated now more so than i was before? if by what you are saying there were just as many negative posts before as there are now wouldn't i have been just as irritated before?

GLP IS unique in my experience. I've had memberships paid for, paid for my own, and mostly post as an AC but this is where news happens. Want to shift the internet? Get a hell of a lot of reads on GLP and it resonates out to all the 'major' alt news sites.
I helped make the 'SImpson Oil' meme go viral and GLP was instrumental in that. That was how many years ago?
With a million reads a day, this place has an impact on (for lack of better words) 'the vibe' of the net.
The negativity threads of which you speak are part and parcel of the (letter which we may not mention) agenda along with ALL the big 'swingers' in the publics emotional well being. There MUST be a projection of dis-unity to keep us all at bay.
There is a larger agenda. We play a role in it and c'est la vie. Those of us with somewhat of an insight nudge and wink here and there until we find a wink and a nudge in response.

thanks for the link. i checked out 2009 too. seemed way less racist and bigoted and geared more towards current events and less out right hatred in the titles at least.

Not so long ago, those people who were rubbing their eyes after their semi-slumber could not talk openly about awakening from the dream. There was a tentative outreach.
This goes back a very long time.
Then it got to the point where you were at a good party and certain people drifted towards one another because of the others perspective on things. GLP WAS that good party! Now it's a hit and miss affair...And that goes for most of the alt.news sites. A wink and a nudge leads to 'what do you have as far as data goes that can combine with mine'. We are Snowden in our own ways.
That's what I mean. You recognize those who've rubbed the grit from their eyes and awoken by their deeds/words (on a forum) and relate.
