How to Be Happy: Winnie-the-Pooh’s Wise Quotes for Grown-Up Kids
Although Alan Alexander Milne (1882–1956) created Winnie-the-Pooh as a children’s book character, this cartoon bear’s thoughts can sometimes speak to adults with a philosophical depth. This is probably due largely to their simplicity, which is sometimes so hard to find in a rushed grown-up life.

Milne’s 132nd birthday was on Saturday. In honor of the always-hungry bear and his friends, here’s some inspiration gleaned from their timeless thoughts about friendship, courage, and the other challenges of life in Ashdown Forest.

“A day without a friend is like a pot without a single drop of honey left inside.“

– A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

Re: How to Be Happy: Winnie-the-Pooh’s Wise Quotes for Grown-Up Kids
i recall the book the Tao of Pooh from a few years back -
sought to connect his sweetly odd phrases to Taoist teachings…

he truly is an inspired character isn't he?
just when you find him to be a simpleton he blows you away with his insight.

a lot like Chance the Gardener in Being There LOL

Thank you so much for sharing this OP!

perhaps pooh being a simpleton is why he can be so easily related to the tao :) (just being himself and living in the moment)
