Ever explore and abandoned building and find something strange?
Ever come across an old creepy house/building and wonder what was inside?

Did you let your curiosity get the best of you and actually snoop around? Or did you decide that certain things are just better left alone?

Check out what one guy found in an abandoned place in Scotland:

I'd say his findings are a bit creepy.

Re: Ever explore and abandoned building and find something strange?
As far as my own experience, when I was a kid I definitely let my curiosity get the better of me. Snooped around inside a few run down houses.

Never found anything too crazy aside from dead animals and some ominous looking dolls, but I did make off with a pretty cool sign from one place that I still have today.

As you can tell from the sign, I probably shouldn't have been there. But hey, what's a kid gonna do...

There was an old abandoned house down the road from where I grew up, and I would go inside it sometimes. I remember one room had a whole bunch of shoes piled in a stack. I don't remember if it had an upstairs or whether I was to chicken to go explore it.

Re: Ever explore and abandoned building and find something strange?
Exploring abandoned buildings is great fun, but be careful can be very dangerous too. Rotting floors that collapse and deranged occupants and ghosts can surprise you. I lived in many very interesting squats.

Found a strange beautiful old strand of turquoise in the attic of an old Fort building. The turquoise is unusual because there is some other mineral mixed in it that lights up like a crystal and shines light back like a mirror. Maybe another rock inserted but it looks like it occurred naturally. Anyone ever see something like this?

Could that mineral be pyrite?
