Snooped around inside a few run down houses. Never found anything too crazy aside from dead animals and some ominous looking dolls, but I did make off with a pretty cool sign from one place that I still have today. [link to oi44.tinypic.com] As you can tell from the sign, I probably shouldn't have been there. But hey, what's a kid gonna do... I remember one room had a whole bunch of shoes piled in a stack. I don't remember if it had an upstairs or whether I was to chicken to go explore it. |

Rotting floors that collapse and deranged occupants and ghosts can surprise you. I lived in many very interesting squats. Found a strange beautiful old strand of turquoise in the attic of an old Fort building. The turquoise is unusual because there is some other mineral mixed in it that lights up like a crystal and shines light back like a mirror. Maybe another rock inserted but it looks like it occurred naturally. Anyone ever see something like this? |
