It's time to break down the elements surrounding the Syrian conflict and expose the real reason our government is so interested in being involved.

“The Al-Nusra Front, one of the jihadist factions in Syria that aligns itself with Al-Qaeda, “does have aspirations for attacks on the homeland,” James Clapper, the US Director of National Intelligence, told the Senate intelligence committee on Wednesday.

Thanks to the rise of alternative media last year, the mainstream was forced to recognize that the U.S. and NATO have been running a proxy war in Syria for years by arming and funding the Syrian rebels.

This conflict in Syria was never a revolution by the Syrian people, it has always been an international force of mercenaries and terrorists fighting to topple the Assad Regime at any cost.

Due to relentless coverage by alternative media, we uncovered the dangers of the Al-Nusra Front presence in Syria and warned the American public about the dangers of supporting these militants who openly eat the organs of their enemies and pledge an allegiance to Al-Qaeda

Knowing this, why is it that for three years all we've heard from the United States and NATO are slanted horror stories about Assad murdering a hundred thousand Syrian civilians?

Why would John McCain, who has long wanted to “bomb bomb bomb Iran,” hold a meeting in Syria with the same rebel commanders committing these atrocities?

Recently, an anonymous Israeli intelligence officer estimated to the AP that Al-Qaeda’s allies in Syria now tops 30,000. What have we been doing in Syria? As Dennis Kucinich put it quite bluntly in August, "So what, we're about to become Al Qaeda's air force now?"

The use of chemical weapons against civilians in the Syrian conflict on March 19th, 2013 and August 21st, 2013 were crimes against humanity. Both chemical attacks should have been the subject of a real criminal investigation. If you've been paying attention to this conflict since 2011, you've witnessed the United States and NATO act as if their accusations were as good as a conviction.

We've been told that no evidence is required to launch missile strikes.

We've been told that an investigation is not needed before we start murdering civilians because civilians have been murdered.
