Im a manager at a hotel right outside of Philly...generator kicked on which just has lights for half of first floor, and half of the hallway lights on the floors. THATS IT. Were sold out and all of our competition is in the same exact boat. NO HEAT no telephones.

I dunno what direction suburbs you are, but north of Philly trees and branches are falling over left and right from the heavy snow+sleep stuck on them. My guess would be a tree knocked out a power line near you.
