No, it's about some simple facts, which you have presented in the OP, and which many of our "leaders" and the MSM don't ever want us to hear.

The libs are victims of their own fear - they are afraid of guns, and especially conservatives with guns. Therefore they are always looking for new ways to make gun ownership and carry more difficult and less common.

Their goal is "the extinction of the gun", plain and simple. To them, that is a much better solution than to just put their big-boy pants on and deal with the fact that there are things they don't like about the world...

All 3 of those commercials are mindless, especially the last one with the woman shooting some guy OUTSIDE her house while she was INSIDE the house.

The Indiana jailhouse lawyer was WAY off the mark, but that's what happens when a person can't think well. The video shows

1. She gets a phone call from some unknown person.
2. Her electricity goes out
3. Somebody is at her door.

and the jailhouse lawyer thinks that adds up to a legal justification to shoot? Of course he does, but the law says otherwise.

1. where is the proof that the woman KNEW the guy she shot was the guy who called her?

2. power outages happen all of the time. how does that justify shooting somebody OUTSIDE your house when you are LOCKED INSIDE the house?

3. since she did not know who the guy was or why he was there, where is the justification to shoot? he had not broken in. she did not try to find out who he was or what he wanted. she KNEW NOTHING except the guy was trying to open the door. but why was he trying? was he drunk and at the wrong house where his friends live?

I think that all people should be issued a free firearm, a box of bullets, and a certificate for a weeks worth of firearms training, and the right to carry concealed anywhere and everywhere on their 18th birthday.

Sure, a lot of wanna be rapists and thugs would die in the first year. But I see that as a benefit to society. An armed society would be a polite society, and no longer would women be afraid to walk around after dark.

For about 200 - 300 bucks you can have a nice rifle and some ammo. Who would not enjoy firing off some rounds from this baby!
