Hey Guys, sorry about leaving the thread without updates for awhile, I was in Florida on extended business with some Real Estate and it afforded me the chance to go to Key West and go fishing for a few weeks, so here I am, back just in time for Italy to be the latest E.U. member state to flip the bird to Brussels, and now it looks like negative interest rate bonds are about to force one or two major Italian banks into Bail-Ins...

Pathetic, what to wish our new President the best? I'm rooting for him, I don't like everything he's said, I don't believe everything he's said (retiring the U.S. debt in eight years is simply a pipedream, a pen and paper will tell you that), but I am surprised and heartened that Hillary didn't win. So I'll give Trump a chance and the benefit of the doubt, I like some of his picks so far, I was a little upset that he went back to Goldman Sachs for a couple of Cabinet postings, I had hoped he would step back from the big banks, perhaps even have sense enough to break these too big to fails up so they have less systemic impact on the economy if they go tits up...which looking at their derivative contracts, could happen at any time with a big enough market move...

The stock market is way overvalued and due for a correction soon. It will happen after this years round of 401k buying from the peasants to be sure.

Just keep it in mind that with their trading desk right there on the floor, the Federal Reserve can print up infinite amounts of paper to "buy" every single share that is sold through the Plunge Protection team to keep it all afloat forever. Heck, once the Fed "owns" every share of every thing, they can just dial in new highs every day to infinity, now can't they? Why anyone pays any attention to any of those BS Festivals or Old Yellin' is beyond my ability to comprehend. It is all full of sound and fury yet signifying nothing.

Welp the Fed ended up going .25%, but their "Statement" forecasts a full 1% move upwards for 2017...that's gonna be nasty.

Well you're in luck. If Trump gets his way we are well on the way to uncontrollable hyper-inflation.

The US exported it's inflation beginning in the 70's to Japan and eventually china by exporting manufacturing. The system was only a couple years away now from a deflationary collapse anyway. So either way this doesn't end well.
Survive and rebuild it the right way is what will matter.
