For example Iran, China, and Russia. If this controlled demolition isn't what they want would they expedite the process? We all know China is hording gold and that tensions between Iran and TPTB are very high. Not saying I want this in the least but I am curious if its even on the table. There are so many different theories as to what will happen over the next year and currency war via dumping the dollar seems to be a popular one. |

But you're thinking possibly Q3 or Q4 this year to be a stage 5? Interesting... Thanks I would say at present velocity of bad economic news coming in, and the present rate of taper and monetary contraction, late Q3-Q4 for it to come to a head... I have noticed many, many Russians of all ages in this town. Why? Quoting: Ms. Superduper They tend to all migrate to certain area's, I notice when I'm in Key West there are a lot of Yugoslavians down there... Other than that I can't really speculate. Are they young men for the most part, or just a general cross section of Russians? A pretty young girl (20 or so) down the street who works at the gas station owned by muslims. A couple, middle aged, I ran into at the drug store. I was behind the man who was standing still and I kept saying excuse me and he didn't move. Finally his wife or whoever prompted him. No speaky English. Then there was the cop who came out and wrote a report for the neighbor's breakin' last year. He did not say Russia when I asked him where he was from, but it was close by Russia - can't 'member'. heh Just wondering because people rave about how great Russia is now and wondered why they would want to come over to America in the current state. This town is kind of a melting pot though. Anyhow. If it was just groups of military age men I would be more concerned. There has been significant Eastern European and Russian immigration since the USSR folded it's tent... Quoting: Anonymous Coward 47969136 I can't shake the feeling that Obama can't wait to use the upcoming crisis to implement martial law, suspend term limits amid the chaos ( elections won't be possible amongst the chaos ) and America will become a totally different entity. A socialist/ communistic society with a dictator, and part of the new world order. This is a truism known throughout all of history. Your soldiers have families and needs of their own. When you don't pay them, they're not your solders for long. You pay your army in worthless fiat, you will wind up with a worthless army. EDIT: for spelling ( Hey I've been drinking lol ) Here's an interesting thought to Ponder, Congress just "Suspended" the debt ceiling for 1 year. Quoting: Saddletramp But they have a Budget this year, so supposedly they know how much debt they will need to accrue, so why not just raise the debt ceiling rather than suspend it? Unless they know there will be an emergency where they will need a massive jump in the debt... Only one answer for both of these. War. Combat soldiers gone overseas and only a few pencil pushers left at home. It has to happen that way. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 49086209 I believe the only reason the reserves are this large is to keep the new/printed money out of the economy to keep inflation under control. Once/When the reserves start to circulate inflation is going to really take off. The question is what will be the catalyst to get the banks to start using the reserves. - It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brush fires of freedom in the minds of men. - The liberties of our country, the freedom of our civil constitution, are worth defending against all hazards: And it is our duty to defend them against all attacks. - Samuel Adams - "When injustice becomes law resistance becomes duty." - Thomas Jefferson - |
