Doin' the same thing here in the US... they just haven't positioned it here yet. Watch the buzz around the "MyRA" program - they'll be telling you about how you can save for retirement, and help the economy at the same time.

Then, once that sinks in, they'll start talking about how *all* the (privately invested) retirement money "should participate in the recovery"... or some such bullshit language to that effect.

They'll imply that if you insist on retaining control of how your retirement money is "invested", then that means you are just selfish and greedy. Cue Oprah, Roseanne Barr, Maury Povitch, and the rest of the MSM to hammer it into the lazy class, and away we go... the "Social Justice" crowd will be ogling your nest egg in a whole new way.
