I'm wondering if the schroedingers cat paradox is the result of thinking backwards about causality. Like: the macroscope (whether the cat is alive or dead) actually determines the way in which the isotope decays (decoheres). If the cat is "supposed to be" alive, then it imposes on microcosm rather than vice versa.
