I know Putin doesn't give a rat's ass about me, but you need to understand that Putin is right on this one. You don't realize that you have been brainwashed to believe that Putin is the ultimate evil, a new Hitler. He is not. Putin is a responsible leader who is looking out for the interests of his country. He may not be the most democratic leader but he doesn't sell out his own country for corporate interests. Everything Putin has done is what he had to do. Any other course of action would be another step toward enslavement of Russia. He is on the right side of history. You fail to understand that the United States saw the collapse of the Soviet Union, not as an opportunity for world peace, but as an opportunity to dominate the planet with the goal of full hegemony. It would have been better if the Soviet Union never collapsed. Gorbachev was instituting reforms that would have eventually led to democracy and freedom for all of the member states. The coup against Gorbachev by the dire hard communists failed. Communism was finished. Gorbachev then had the power to institute more reforms. Now, these countries have less freedom because of the collapse of the Soviet Union. The West used Yeltsin to further the collapse, not giving a damn about the lives of the people in those countries.

The West is a corrupt entity, I know that.
