It was only too obvious why it was there, it was there to defame, to destroy and put Nugent in the spotlight for his controversial, non politically correct delivery of his derogatory approach to his beliefs. It did not work however, he defended himself adequately.
It serves no one to call another vile names, not because it is politically correct, but because it destroys credibility.
He however counterbalances it with truth, which is all important, if people like him don't feel the need to use insulting language, they would be much more widely heard and understood and empathised with, the insults just put people off so they don't listen, that is self defeating!
