Ability to provide support for simple text html tags like <b> <i> <u> <font ...> would be nice. This might result in people not typing ALL IN CAPS TO MAKE THEIR POINT. Maybe not.

I wouldn't go as far as adding the ability to embed images <img> in the posts. This place would look like MySpace overnight. Really irritating. Having the ability to provide a URL link is sufficient for that.
