Can someone explain the logic behind an RSS feed?
Especially for a forum where posting is almost continuous. You'd be updating the list every second, and what's the benefit of it?
If it was for news or something, that'd make more sense as it'd be a quick check to see if any new news is posted, but thread posting?
Unless I've misunderstood the use of the RSS feed on this site.
Quoting: Fool 90656I think it's a good idea. You can put the feed into a reader, and you see the thread, without having to load the pictures/avatars/smilies/etc. Great for people on 56k.
