if any kid is home watching any tv between 8am and 3pm, then something is wrong to begin with.

I'm sure the number of glp posters who watch day time soaps is probably in the low minority, and that's exactly why I've started this thread. People need to know how far this is going and how bad it's getting DURING THE DAY TIME!

Lol, good point, American gay subculture is going full court press.

These shows come on about the time most schools let out. That's 1:00 and 2:00 P.M. These are afternoon air times. Many kindergarteners are out of school by NOON! Because they only go for a half day.

I realize it's late and many folks are sleeping right now..but are any of you that are awake at this hour or in other parts of the world, as alarmed as I am by this??

Exactly! And as a long time soap watcher. The homosexual sex scenes are acted out and filmed in the exact same way that hetero sex scenes have been acted out for decades. Same low romantic lighting, same background music, camera work..you name it. It is exactly the same!

Most people are probably worried about real problems if they are awake. If they are asleep it is because they have lives and work hard during the day.

This is about what's appropriate for day time TV viewing where young impressionable children are often present.

I have to be at work in 7 hours. But this is too important to ignore and not try to educate folks about what's happening to our children.

Thank you. And to be honest and quite frank, it disgusts me. But that's just me and my opinion. Not everyone has to agree with me. This is more about the time this stuff is being shown and the extent of it.

Schools do not get out at 1pm.

The school day in elementary schools is usually from 8.30am to 3pm or 3.30pm, with an hour for lunch. In high schools, hours are usually from 7.30am to 2pm or 2.30pm

So the older children (14 - 18 years old) are getting out at 2pm at the earliest. Older children are less impresionable than primary or pre-school children. Additionally, the times for the most popular soap operas are mostly while all children (5 - 18 years old) are still in school. Note that the times below are EST.
