Nothing else goes out besides one string on the base. EXCESSIVE amount of transformers even if that was plausible...... THIS WENT ON FOR HOURS.I've lived in TX for 30+ years and have seen this many times. Most of the time it's just 1. Then you have some that chain react all the way down the street. Then you have some that will continue until it gets to a sub. Every time one of them goes off it lights up the whole sky in a blue, sometimes green light. It's startling if you don't know what it is. Well, with that type of chain reaction of many blowing up, how come a rolling blackout did not occur??? We have our own power grid. Texas rarely has blackouts. When we do, they are planned. This usually happens when it's really cold or really hot.
