Quoting: eagleone 1445188 I don't think it is Obama,because I do not see him as ever being a unifying figure in the cause of Islam,rather the exact opposite.
But I do believe Obama has played a massive role in furthering the cause of the A/C in his actions,wether intentionally or not,he seems to be a lackey in carrying out the nefarious plans of the AC.
His government has been infiltrated with people in positions of power sympathetic to Islamic 'democracy' which plays into the hands of the A/C.
His government has actively been supporting so called rebel movements in various countries in their quest to overthrow dictatorial governments in the name of bringing democracy to said countries.
Thing is,democracy in Islam means sharia law which is what the A\C will build his platform on to unite all of Islam.
So,yes,I think it will be someone totally unexpected,nevertheless he is already a big player,someone well respected for his views and his 'peace' efforts.
But it is in his best interests to keep a low profile for now,whilst his Mahdi's armies are creating havoc in a number of countries,as well as being on a major recruitment drive.
I believe he will be present and probably instrumental at the signing of a major peace treaty,maybe between Assad and the western backed rebels(read Mahdi's armies) or maybe between Israel and Palestinians,and maybe even receive nobel peace prize for his efforts.
This will be his 'coming out' and make him a household name,and may gain him millions of followers.
His message will be so strong,that both the war weary Islamic nations and the bankrupt western powers will turn towards him as some kind of a saviour.
All this while his Mahdi continues to wage holy jihad in his cause for world domination.
The western governments are certainly playing their part in overthrowing the traditional strongmen who might have stood in his way,by supporting the arab spring movement and the muslim brotherhood etc the platform is being layed so that the A/C can install his followers into positions of power in the resultant vacuum.
