The FBI can actually open a channel on any cell phone to listen to conversations, you can also riangulate position of cell phones if they are still on.

So if phones that are on the plane are still on and do still ring they would know where the planes is within a 1 mile radius and also be able to hear everything that is being said.

And for the iPhone users there is always find my iphone who needs the FBI.

Here's what I don't get:

* Why wasn't one of the many forms of communication working
or used? Transponder, satellite phones, blackbox..?

* You say "It was blown up". Well, why did the pentagon
issue a statement saying they saw no bright flashes after
reviewing satellite footage over that area at the time?

* If the wing broke off the transponder would have sent info,
the pilot would of issued a mayday and those satellite
phones would have been used by the first class passengers
and crew.

* Why did the radar just lose it?



I think the hijacking theory doesn't hold water. It would have to be a plan so elaborate and perfectly timed I just don't see it happening. You'd have to jam the transponder. Shut off the satellite phone and make sure NO passengers had one in their briefcase. You'd have to kill the blackboxe's so It wouldn't send a signal AND make the radar lose tracking of the plane...all in about 15 minutes. I don't by it.

So it wasn't hijacked (Too elaborate). It didn't blow up (satellite images would have picked it up and it would have sent info). The wing didn't rip off (Mayday's, phone calls and data would of bent sent).

That's the most logical explanation.

Actually when I call my phone and her land line is out (she has lots of squirrels in her area that chew the phone lines) I get a busy signal. It does not ring.

If it was hijacked it is possible it wasn't hijacked for terrorist purpose. You don't have to have terrorist motives to hijack a plane. You just have to want something or somebody who is on the plane bad enough. If the plane was hijacked it does not mean they are going to use it as a weapon. If that was the case the hijackers could have just wanted somebody or something on the plane.

Try to make a phone ring when theres no signal and tower nearby and you ll see how well it works. But you're american the Nsa must make your phone conversations possible even with your phone turned off and your battery destroyed
