If the phone is on it doesn't send that signal. Now if the phone gets destroyed while turned on the cell tower searches for your phone and while it searches you will hear a ringing until a voice comes on asking if you want to leave a message. Experiment #1 call your cell phone they almost always ring more times than what the phone will ring. Experiment #2 with your cell phone turned on take your battery out and call your cell phone it will ring. |

I took the battery out while the phone was on. It went straight to voicemail. |
