Comedian David Brenner, a favorite of Johnny Carson's 'Tonight Show,' dies at 78

Every time he came on the tv I changed the channel because he sucked, and got on my nerves with his nasal, twangy, unfunny voice!

He wasn't that funny....sorry.

I loved him when I was growing up. He was funny without all the vulgarity of today's comics.

HOW and WHY do these UNFUNNY people become
"comedians".
Isn't there an unwritten law somewhere that says dentists
have to have good teeth, doctors have to be healthy,
comedians have to be funny........

Why do you find him unfunny. I think these crap comedians today couldn't carry most if their jokes without half being profanity.

I guess most here are too young to remember the golden age of TV.

I don't watch ANY comedians after the first profanity comes
out of their mouth, so I don't watch comedians anymore.
I always liked Alan King, and a few others, but David Brenner
was a snooze for me, to each his own.

I probably watched his Tonight Show debut live in '71,
but you be the judge. He didn't get ONE laugh out of me.

All he did was make stupid jokes about his Big Jew Nose.............
