Two the same! WTF! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 22419384 Now it's Three!!! Quoting: ~Jay~ It depends.... Sites like RSOE look as if they are reporting 2 quakes instead of one because they get their information from sites like USGS and EMSC...So sometimes it can look as if there has been more than 1 earthquake... Also, USGS send out an automatic report of the quake before they revise it (After looking at the data)....Sites again like RSOE will show the Automatic data that's sent out but when USGS has revised the quake from their data and sent a new one out, RSOE don't delete the old automatic report, so again, it makes it look like there is more than one quake... Looking at these quakes, there has only been 2 quakes. You can tell this by looking at the timestamps on the reports they receive.... When a quake gets revised, RSOE should really delete the old data so it doesn't look like there is more than there should be...
