pride

I believe in love and respect for one another regardless of our differences.

I wanted to share some thoughts on Pride.

It would seem that pride has the potential to be unhelpful in the promotion of peace on earth.

Why is this?

Pride separates us from each other for reasons like gender or race or religion instead of honouring our diversity and seeing the beauty our differences bring to life on this planet.

Pride is a useful tool governments use to promote their agendas, if we are all against each other we can not all unite against them.

Pride has a way of making us think that one way is better than another and regardless of who we are we have all been in a place where we felt our opinion was the best one.

Rather than the division of pride if we focus on being united in love, without the idea that we can only love clones of ourselves, and if we celebrate our diversity at every opportunity the world will be a more peaceful and fun place to be!
