Thanks for the answers so far. I appreciate it. But if you guys don't mind, please just add a couple reasons and don't just name a place. Thanks again for all the replies.  Sinclair, Sandpoint, Idaho is it. use the search engine here on GLP :) it's magical. I don't get this magical mystique lately. I've been there more than a few times. It's nice. It's a pine forest in the mountains next to a lake. It's nice.
It's real cold in the winter. There are no jobs. And it's very expensive.sorry you have had such a negative experience. it has been the opposite for me. got a job in the first 2 weeks I moved. the winter is mild compared to some other mountain towns I've been to, and lots of wonderful humidity. it's wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy cheaper than the city.
