PANDEMIC NOTICE
Should a flu pandemic situation occur that would alter our current operation, the plan for maintaining services would be posted on our website. Information would be located on our website opening page and within Home Banking.

ACCOUNT TRANSFER LIMITATIONS

In compliance with Regulation D, which states that Savings and Money Market accounts are non-transactional, and therefore limited to no more than 6 transactions in a 30-day period, it is our policy to allow 2 free transfers, withdrawals, EFT debits etc. from a savings account and 3 free transfers, withdrawals, EFT debits etc. from a Money Market account. On the Savings account the 3rd through 6th transfer, withdrawal, EFT debit will be assessed a $5.00 excessive share withdrawal fee. On the Money Market account the 4th through 6th transfer, withdrawal, EFT debit will be assessed a $5.00 excessive share withdrawal fee.

WHY MENTION ONLY "FLU PANDEMIC" NOTICE? What about other situations?

I've never seen this before. Just thought I would share.

I moved in with my elderly parents after my dad had a stroke 2 years ago. Now we are like the three muscateers. I kept buying gallons of water and can goods each time I went for groceries and if on-sale stacks of bottled water...finally Mama politely asked whats up with all the water. I finally came out and told her. I think it went well, the other day she was talking to a real estate lady. I asked why? She said , I was reading and we need a bug-out place...hehe true story!
Well enough about me.

I sometimes feel like everyone knows but no one is saying....but at the same time, they are saying it, everywhere, but no one knows what exactly "IT" is.

It's freakin ridiculous!

I think I know what this so called "Pandemic" notice actually is. They are just using the word "Pandemic Flu" because it is strangely enough a word the population can deal with, but really what they are saying is this:

Something might happen and if it does we may have no employees, everyone may be at home alive or dead, we may have online banking and if we do, check here for messages on what the hell is going on. IF, and that's a big IF, we are open at all in any form, but if we all are required to remain in our home, then try to check here on-line and we will tell you where your money is or isn't.

That's what I think it means. Note "if a situation were to occur to ALTER our operation"....

Right now there's a pretty bad flu making its way around the country. If they are hit, they might have as few as 1/3rd of their employees well enough to work at any moment. I was around healthcare professionals (nurses, docs, etc) that 2/3rds of them caught this thing and 1/3rd of the residents in the program caught it....which was a few weeks ago.
